Check out my killer loaner from the indy shop
Getting some 02 sensors replaced.......also have a SMALL oil leak.......although the shop says it isn't that big of a deal......LOL, I'm still getting it repaired.......I've replaced 3 out of 4 02 sensors so far.
But hey!! This is the cool loaner I got
It's an 02 I think and has almost 200k miles on it.....runs GREAT and feel pretty good.Who else gets cool loaners from their indy shop?
I asked the shop owner about the car. He said they bought it from a customer when it needed a new engine. They just transplanted a Camry V6 of the proper vintage, added some new struts, and the rest of the car was in fine shape. When this particular car wasn't doing loaner duty, the owner's wife used it as a daily driver.
Of course, from the same shop, I've had some really odd loaners, like the time I dropped in with a problem but no appointment. I ended up driving their shop snow plow truck for a couple of days. The truck was a full-sized Blazer, with over 250,000 miles on the clock, and looks to go along with the numbers. Well, at least nobody messed with me in rush hour traffic.

I feel pretty lucky to get a loaner from an indy shop, and one that looks good too, despite all the wheel rash it has......I'm hoping to pay for some of my work with a set of R43 HRE's LOL
