Fitting 17" Wheels in the Rear
I have a 2012 CLS63 and I'm looking for a dedicated drag race setup in 17". I've heard of a handful of people doing it but there's not much information on what needs to be done or which 17" wheels clear..
I removed the rear brake weights and tried a 17x9 +35 offset Enkei RPF1 and it would still would not clear the caliper.
Do I need a wider wheel? Different offset? Or do I need to shave/grind on the caliper?
Any information is greatly appreciated!

If the inside of the spokes is touching the brake caliper you need a wheel with LOWER offset OR a wheel with a LESS CONCAVE face. Of course, this factor will vary if you go with a wheel of different width.
If the barrel of the wheel is what's rubbing the caliper then you'd need a 18" wheel.
I wish they made the RPF1s in the specs I'd want to fit the W212.
