It's finally here!!!

the car reached Houston about 9:30am this morning and was taken to fill up on gas, have plastic removed from exterior and interior, state inspection, and a minor detail job. i'm lovin it! its almost a week late, but well worth the wait IMO.

thanks all. i really like this car. i was a BMW guy for the longest and only switched over to MB for the CLS' design. I needed a car with 4 doors for professional reasons because my e46 m3 just wasn't too accomodating. but i really missed the m3 after driving the CLS500 because it just lacked power and that throw back feeling whenever you were in the mood to gun down an open road. i think this car gives me the best of both worlds, and aside from the increase in power, the little AMG related changes are much welcomed. although i haven't really gotten on it too hard yet, i can tell it just wants to go. i cant wait to turn off traction and break it loose a bit. this car has a lot more in terms of features such as the suede headliner and pulsating seats. i have no clue if those are standard options, however.
the only thing i wish it had was the trim package...that was an elegant touch on my 500. |

mj1133, if you haven't already, you should check out www.bavarianspeed.com. its primarily a local (houston) forum/club and predominantly bmw. they have a meet coming up soon too.
