Maximum speed of each gear?
What is the maximum speed of each of the 5 gears in a 55?

1 = ??? mph
2 = ??? mph
3 = ??? mph
4 = ??? mph
5 = ??? mph well 155 limited...

hope that helps, i shifted into 5th before 4th ran out, there was still 600 rpm or so left in 4th at top speed which was 158.

i ran it in M so it revs a little higher than it would in S, i timed the shift perfectly

When did Mercedes stop indicating the top speed of each gear on the speedometer?

95 was the last year of those markings.
