I've met AMG LOL. He comes to the DFW Auto Club meets now and then.
Oh, and if you see a M3 with MACH M3 plates on it, doesn't matter what AMG you're rolling in, stay the heck away from it. If you race it, you will lose. It has a stage II HPF turbo kit on it.

I've had the M3 challenge many many times and it was never close.
In Irvine I saw one with a plate "SMG FTW" which I thought was clever. Zipped past him and he gave up as soon as I started to pull away ... But he did have some traffic ahead of him,
I guess we'll never know. Made me wanna get "AMG FTW"

Driving back from the club today ran into a white M3 w/ license tag "AMG-LOL" in Dallas. I was just minding my biz, but the dude sidled over next to me and started motioning me to race. Not a great idea on trafficed roads w/ lots of traffic lights, but hey, can't let that license tag stand, can we??
Well, really too bad for the dude. Wrong AMG to take on v. a M3. Outcome predictable: just dusted him off in the 55. Nolo contendre!!
Stopped at the next light and lowered the passenger window and made the obvious (sarcastic) comment: "M3- LOL, dude. Have a good day." 
Wish it had been more exciting, but that was it; thrill for the day, gentlemen.

get AMG FTW, it would be funny, I got the plate as a joke, and honestly this is the first negative reaction I have gotten to it, most people think its funny, meh...
If I lose, big deal, I will admit I lose, just don't make stuff up. I am not running around like my POOP don't stink, I bought got the M because it was a great compromise for where I am in my life, well that and a C55 doesn't come with a stick.
Also by him saying he was coming from a club, I am assuming he was in uptown, and that would make me remember this "event" even more, since I have been out in uptown all of two times in the last like 6 months. What ever floats your boat though.

If you mean the one time I could convince myself to get up at 8:00 in the morn on a sat to get there around 9, ugh they really need to make that ish later in the day.

Ah, that was your first time there? I thought you had been before. I know they've been doing it for a while and I'm fairly new. I try to go as often as I can. It's quite the haul for me, about 35 min one way.

I see a few SL55/63/65's around, a couple S55's and a C55 here and there I think I see more ML55/63's then anything, but none are ever anywhere but on the highway. The few that I have talked to at gas stations or what not have been cool and thinks its funny.

Lol. Jeremy Clarkson is the *****. very M3 driver I come across tries that crap. I dont think it has anything to do with their age, I think all M3 drivers are at the same maturity level.
