While I think 360 makes some of the best looking wheels out there......I agree, I WOULD NOT touch those stockers on the GTR. Totally makes the car.

Thanks for the welcome.

I learned about the show too late. I would have certainly gone. I went to the DC auto show in December specifically to see the GTR

I'll have to keep an eye out for your AMG in town. I live up in Braddock Heights but am downtown and all over the place all the time. I actually test drove an '06 55 at Hagerstown Mercedes yesterday. I was thoroughly impressed. I'm looking to buy near the end of the year.

um doesn't the car suffer some issues if you change wheels?
I recall reading the Nissan made them special for the car and if you remove them it gives off all sorts of warnings .

TPMS warning is the first thing to come up, with other technical stuff.
Annoyingly, many parts were made for each individual GTR. the engine and transmission are 1:1 which means you can't take a gearbox from another GTR and put them on another. same goes to every single body parts. they have aerodynamic function to go with the look.

okay enough tech talks. let's talk about those HAWT wheels.

stockers are 20", i'm guessing 22" upgrade?

Tons of mis- and dis- information in that post. It makes absolutely no sense from a manufacturing standpoint to make unique engines and transmissions for each car. At this point I think anyone will believe anything about the GTR.

Go to NAGTROC if you want some truth.

well i'm referring to what i heard from Top Gear (season 11, ep 5). its quite hard to say they give information to viewers without proper research. but i do agree it DOESN'T make any sense logically.

if it's proven that it is wrong than i'm willing to delete the post.

No need to delete the post man, we're all here to learn. Clarkson doesn't always do a ton of fact-checking, though he is my favorite auto journalist I don't think he meant it exactly how it was interpreted.
