First CLS 63 N/A in the 11's 1/4 mi
 

Just wanted to give PROPS to Rarfinancial as his Silver Mako, Team AMG CLS 63 became the first CLS 63 in the USA perhaps world to run a sub 12 second 1/4 mile pass.

11.97 off the bottle 1/17/2009 Famoso/Mcfarland Ca.

Two years have passed and we have had so many memories, so much we have learned, Rick is a standup guy, a very good driver and has made his "show car" into a "go car"!

CONGRATS TO MY GOOD FRIEND.

Hey, Thanks guys. I met Juicee 2 years ago at Fontana Raceway and I have been hooked on drag racing ever since. :X He has taught me everything I know about drag racing :y Thanks man... I broke into the 11's on a 91 octane tune :eek: on a warm day.. I have my 100 octane tune just waiting for the next race day as I will beat my own record this time. The Nos was not working right either but it is 100% dialed in now so :naughty:.. I have worked on my reaction time, the last time at Famosa I hit 031, 031, 024, 006, 004, 002 and 60' of 1.7 I am working on getting 1.6x's
Drag racing is a blast... Hey WHO wants to do Willowsprings road racing day with EVO Feb 19th... Instuction first, then they let us loose.. I think it would be a BLAST having us all there .. More of a gathering day than a race day. Just fun

Yeah man this is a blast and road racing is amazing fun as well.

A bit harder on the car but definately very engaging.

Rick has really become a very proficient driver, consistant and always willing to try new mods,tunes, tires , even insert his offspring in his car. I have alot of respect for him , his family and what he has achieved in a short time.


We can all talk about going faster but this guy is like Nike he just do it's. LOL

Great job, I really think you should do Summit Series this season , you could win 1million..

nice job Rick. I bet the guys as Affalterbach would be pretty impressed with those numbers and pleased to see the 63 putting down 55 numbers.

What's this I hear about Willow Springs? Is this a real track day (as opposed to a drag only day)? Do we get to go around the track? How many times? I might be interested in that.

Either way though, we should do another gtg soon. I haven't seen you guys in a long time. Last time I saw Josh, he had ordered a giant ice truck to meet us out on the track. Freaking priceless.

Rick is hitting 118.2-118.8 off the N20. On spray he was hitting 123-125

I think he is still dialing in the tune, etc. seems there is always something that fails him at the track. I never got the slip I remember the 11.97 pass and seeing low 118, maybe someday I will get a slip to post:p:

You know me I will try my best :naughty: I don't see a problem with a hot day. At Famosa I only turned my car off 2 or 3 times out of 35 runs and the car ran the same :nix: It will be a blast man, I just hope I don't break something :bow:
