Anyone in OC install their own EURO command?
anyone in the OC area install their command console themselves? im having trouble removing the shifter panel. even with two people pulling up it is hard. i am following kevins guide here am i suppose to remove the cover with the cigarette lighter? he says ash tray but i don't have one. maybe i can meet up with someone if you're around the area for help. ill buy lunch or something.

i got it out but it wasnt easy. i took out the shift boot first and then was able to see the tabs holding it in place. even with screw drivers pushing the tabs it was still very hard to get out. its like the tabs were clipped on so far back it would have been impossible to just pull up. even putting it back was as difficult. i took some pics so ill post them tomorrow. thanks everyone!

Try using a small flat head and cover it up with a towel so it doesnt scratch. Wedge it between the ashtray and shifter panel and it should be easier that way. I also did mine and it was a PITA!

my us spec command i can get into engineering mode by pressing mute + end call + service and into the special menu by pressing # + * + < but on this one to get into em i have to press mute + upper left arrow + audio but im still trying how to get the secret menu to popup. ive tried and search the board. anyone know which combination does the trick? it has not been updated since 03/06. thanks
