CLS 55 Wins Eurofest Drag Event

CLS 55 Wins Eurofest Drag Event
Went to Eurofest this weekend and got some good first runs in with the car. 185mm pulley proved to be too much as the car was heat soaked by top of 2nd gear and ran like a dog from there so MPH was way down. I was hoping for 11.7's but best run was 12.04 @ 116. Car ran about a dozen 12.1's and 12.0's. 60' times were low 1.8's with a hand full of 1.7's on 20' Monarch's and 285 Falken 452's.( Which I thought was pretty awesome if I do say so myself). Any how on to some high res vids...

Nicely done.

I'm still amazed that a 4500lb car can pull 12's in the quarter with minimal mods.

Que? They pull 12's stock, low 12's with light mods, and 11's with more extensive mods.

He has these though and his traps do not show it the speed he should be at

so my guess is
  • Bad tune( or no tune could not tell)
  • AIT getting way to high and he is just losing power rather than making it
  • The weather where he is racing is killing the car

Congrats any way though
