Did the CLS 55 come with Performance Package ????
I tried to search but can't find any solid info !
I have a 2005 CLS 55 AMG.
So could you get the CLS 55 AMG with some Performance Package ?
If so, what did the package include ?
And is there any way you can see on the car that it has it ?
Heard from a guy that if the Rear axle / Diffirental have cooling fins on the bottom, it's the bigger diff that came with the Performance package.....??

Sure did homie, it's called the p030 or p30 package.
Comes with:
- Factory LSD (no cooling fans)
- Alcantara steering wheel (this is the easiest give away)
- multi-piece brakes that cost way more to replace yet don't really mean anything in real life situations
- bespoke 19" wheels

- bigger brakes in the Front (380mm instead of 360mm) and lighter brake discs on front axle (12,8kg instead of 15,6kg per disc) --> less unsprung mass.
- LSD from Drechsler with 45%.

Performance Package and info
Does mercedes attach an option code sticker to the car like Porsche does so that you can tell what options came with the car.

If you do a search on here you will find a website that will give you your car's option codes when typing in the VIN number.. Sorry, don't remember it at the moment..

There's what appears to be an option sticker on the bottom of the hood, but my CLS is definitely an 030 car and that sticker doesn't have 030 in the list of codes. On some cars the option sticker is in the drovers door jamb alongside the VIN/GVWR/Tire load stickers but not in this case.
