MIR Track Day Today - Took the car
So today was MIR's track day here in maryland. Was about 45/50 degree's.
I only ran twice, first time with this car ever. So the times weren't that good, reaction time the first time was horrible, but the trap speed looks good. Wondering what types of times I can run stock with those trap speeds
First Run:
R/T .959
60' 2.215
330 5.949
1/8 9.014 MPH 79.89
1000 11.634
1/4 13.806 MPH 104.31
Second run:
R/T -.034 RED Light(I was deep staged, otherwise it would have been almost perfect r/t)
60' 2.156
330 5.833
1/8 8.848 MPH 81.50
1000 11.429
1/4 13.574 MPH 105.39
On the second run I was whooping up on a newer GT Mustang, he ended up letting up. lol
Did see a nice Turbo 328 there, and a few other nice SRT4's running good times, no other mercedes though .
At least I did get to do a baseline for this car. I am not that happy with the numbers, but the trap speeds look good. I'll get it eventually. Just getting used to how much throttle it can take off the line without breaking loose.

"Daddy's Mercedes" so the announcer says..

What method did you use launching your car? I just feel I could have run a lot faster, but did enjoy it, and liked the trap speeds for being stock/stock tires.
