Guide to installing CLK Grill and Flat Hood Badge
So these are the things you need:
1) Virgin C55 AMG
2) 2006 CLK Grill Conversion Kit by Neal over at Euroteck (great guy, very helpful). Here's the link to the kit: Euroteck The kit should come with the actual CLK grill, a new grill support, and a new hood latch

3) Flat AMG Hood Badge from Mario. Very high quality product.AMG Badge
Step 1
Pop open your hood and find the existing grill support and unbolt it (2 bolts)
Step 2
After you unbolt the grill support, the grill is held in place by only 2 tabs on either side of the grill. Pop the grill out of the tabs and you can then pull the grill straight up and out.
Step 3
Now, if you're **** like me, you'll clean the area where the grill once was and remove all the dirt and stuff that accumulated there.
Step 4
Take the new CLK grill and snap the new grill support to the top of the grill. It will hold in place with 2 plastic tabs on either side.

Step 5
Now just take the new grill, snap it back in place, and bolt the new grill support to the car with the 2 bolts from before.

Step 6
Now, unbolt the top chrome strip. I think there are 6 bolts total. And swap the old hood latch for the new one that's compatiable with the CLK grill
So you think you're done right? WRONG!! Now the car looks really wierd with a CLK grill and the originial emblem. Too many stars for my taste.
Step 7
Pop open the cover to the bottom of the emblem that's located close to the hood latch.
Step 8
Rotate the bottom 45 degrees to the left...
and the whole thing should pop out from the top of the hood.
Step 9
Align the flat hood badge carefully so it's straight and use the supplied wing nut and washers to secure it in place. That's right. No cheap double sided tape here folks. This is high quality stuff. Pop the plastic cover back into place and then you're done!
Step 10
Step back and admire your beautiful car.

Then take a blade and shave down the plastic left behind from the drilling of the holes.
Apply the vinyl and forget about it.
Vader ghetto mod 101..
or you can get little colored plugs..search the net for them.
Edit: The color of your car could be a problem with the vinyl, but if you get plugs just paint them with some MB touch up paint from the dealer.

When I get a fixaticket (rare)
I just peel off the Brabus plate, stick on the CAplate and have it written off. (15 bux)
Then I take off the Cali plate and drop the Euro right back on..

Its where you fix the problem, show it to the cops and they wirte it off and bill you 15 bux.

They are a little big but not very noticable. Click on this pic to make it larger. I hope this helps.

Silver W203s are everywhere in H.K.Guess ricers do recognize the four exhausts though. On the highways, most of the times they were WRX, Type-R, S2000. The roads I use don't see many super cars because I live in New Territories. All super cars are in H.K. Island.

The real racers always can tell who you are, those drive illegally fast were mostly those old S500 with China registration mark who got used to speeding in China so they do the same when their cars are in HK. Most E-class drivers are well behaved. The 5-series drivers drive fast but they still behave. I only got one chanellege by a 545i that's all. Honda Accord (non Euro version) drive as crazy as those who drive 1.6 manual Toyota Corolla. Honda Euro versions drive fast too but they know better who they are playing with. These days, 325i/330i E46s drive faster than before because of increasing numbers of E90s. This is a very natural jealous behavior: " Look , my E46 is better !" Honestly there are many CLK W209s but I just dont seem to meet them over Kowloon side. Due to the non official dealers Benz prices were at lowest in 2000-2003 before the new tax rules, you will be surprised we have many W210s and W208s here. Most SLKs here are 200Kompressor and 350, I only saw a SLK55 parked once. There are an increasin number of SUV with 280hp , and they join the straight line games too. We really need fast cars here on highways to get away from the jammed container trucks who almost jammed every highway and they drive aggreesively. If you read the news few months back, a container truck fell over sidway at a roundabout and the whole container pressed over a car in the next lane which had turned the 5 passengers into a pisa!
Most horrifying accident ever in history!
