275/35 rear 245/40 front

So fellas I had my H&R coils taken out! Anyone interested???

I put on the original suspension + RENNtech bushings and springs.
I also took off the 19" and put on 18" 275/35 rear and 245/40 front Nitto NT01 for fun!

And I have to say that I have no idea how I will ever drive on normal tires again! What a blast. Instant hookup in the rear. The RENNtech springs are so stiff that the rear hooks up like crazy!
This will not be my daily set up! I just recived my new Pilot Sport Cups - this tire looks insane and is so soft. I left them at Meridian and forgot to take a picture. I will email those pictures next week. (On the black 19" off course :) )

The 275 rub just a little bit but it worth the fun :y

i dunno where ur getting ur info, but stiff springs do not help traction, weight transfer helps traction and stiffer springs eliminate (or try to) weight transfer. its the tires (all of it) not the springs

yeah, yeah, yeah...

On the H&R coils the 18" with the taller side wall tires would not fit. Also the H&R set up is aweful! I have over 410 rwhp and the back was way too low. The only problem is that the H&R coils were on the last setting so we couldn't raise the back at all. In order to get a better launch the rear need to be lifted.
Therefore, without the new springs I could not fit these 18" on and would still not be able to launch the car. I was getting wheel spin the entire 1st and 2nd gear.
I completley agree that its all in the tires.
I was only comparing the RENNtech springs to the H&R springs that are on the coils I have. I guess I am so disappointed in the H&R coils...

Thanks!
All the work on the car with the exception of the Brakes was done by RENNtech (Mr. hartmut himself) I just kept the original tips (did not care for thr square ones)
Black wheels are back on Tuesday with the new Pilot Sport Cup 265/30 rear 235/35 front. The BLACK just makes the Brembos stand out more!

Josh,

The Sport Cups look mean :v Its a really soft tires so you can expect to change the rear all the time  (but they will stick!)

I will post pictures as soon as they are on. The tread pattern is really nice.
