Quote: is it me, or does that look like a 230SS? The front end doens't look like a CLK 55...
It's the real thing, the distance from the front wheel opening to the side marker light is larger than on a "typical" c-class because of the extended CLK front end.

S4
Quote: 2000 S4 - that's B5 right ? avant ? tiptronic / 6sp ? color ? ever raced it against your C55 ? results ? thx.
It's a sedan 6 speed manual. Presently it is a stage 1 APR supposely 300 HP at the crank. I haven't raced the C55 yet but I would bet on the C55 right now. After the stage 3 mods and if it all works out, it will be the S4. No launch problems at all except for the clutch.

Catapult, actually I was asking the questions to RI55 since he has a stg III.
About your cars, no doubt the C55 would walk your stage I S4 at this moment. Even if your S4 was Stage II... well I take that back since yours is 6 sp manual. They could be even. For sure it'd be a different story if it was Stg III. That's what I'm curious about.

The wheels look great, I considered them for winter and went with the AMG W209's instead, I really like the OZ's on the red car!!
