burn out/drag racing = mechanical abuse?
went down to the drags, did a pretty good time for stock c32
i did 5 runs and i was about going for 6th run then i smelled something burning, and i can't believe how hot the dashboard become
so the question is that frequent drag racing bad mechanically? or is it just bad for the tyres?
FYI this is the best run
R/T 1.261
60' 2.081
660' 8.769@82.10mph
ET 13.483 @105.36

as long as you dont do too many runs in a row (3-4 is ok) and let the car rest a little there is no problem. the car will also run at its best more consistently

when i go to the drag strip, i usually won't run more than 3 times in a row and that's usually because either my first or second run was real bad and I let up in the middle of the quarter mile. I usually let my car cool for about 20-25 minutes before doing my next run. My first time that I went to the drag strip, I did about 15 runs and I had no problems. My fastest runs were the ones at the end too.

This is my first time at a track.
BTW: I will have the powerchip ECU installed by then. I will be officially Stage 1.
My hope is to run low 13's at about 108
