tell me what u guys think of this car
I'm about to sell my M3 and want to get a c32.I don't know much about these cars and would appreciate any info.
the car is an 02 with 50k on it.what are some of the problems that I should look out for?
Do these cars have a belt timing or chains?
heres the link http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ce=&cardist=19

If you're interested in a C32 AMG, I maybe selling mine soon...
Mine has 24,000 miles, Evosport Full Stage II, Evo Spacers, Quaife LSD, 3,000 dollars custom quad exhaust, and every available option from the factory including:
BiXenon
Headlamp Washer
Electronic Rear Sunshade screen
Navigation
COMMAND System
(Phone capable, but not hooked up).
Oh, and it is in almost NEW condition: no scratches, no dents, no paint chips, nothing...
PM for more information...
Thanks

Its a private sale and is a 15 min drive from my house.I will offer him 22k for it cash straight up
Does the c32 engine use a timing chain? or do I have to worry about a timing belt?

if your interested in any parts for your e36 let me know.I have plasma ignition coils and an aa track pipe with sims that I'm trying to get rid of.
what are some syptoms to look out for on these cars?do I need to worry about the supercharger or theromstat at all?
and it seems that no one knows if these cars use a belt timing system or chains like they do in BMWs lol
My friends Audi blew his timing belt and cost him over 6k in engine damage

Make sure there isn't a Valeo radiator and the associated dreaded tranny jerk, check the maintenance records for the car. Check underneath the car (I looked at one from MA before purchasing my car and the underneath looked horrible - obviously due to salt).

i just got mine w/43k miles on it in great condition for $21k. just look around. you can easily find one at a good price. i've only had to replace the front brake pads, belt tensioner, and pulley and all is like new. compression tests are perfect and tranny is fine. the car is extremely clean with the only defect being that the rear window was shaded and it ruined the defroster
the car you're looking at has a clean carfax and the price is right in my opinion.
but i don't have bixenons, rear sunshade, or navigation.
i need a steering wheel w/airbag for my e36, got one available for sale?
thanks

-Make sure car does not have valeo radiator.
-supercharger bearing goes bad usually last 30-40k
-oil cooler seals leak they're not very tight from factory sama as valve cover gaskets.
-intercooler pump starts to work and not work (go for a long steady drive and espically highway speeds with the sruise set youll feel a slight jerk when you do hit the gas and you'll notice it has no power, reset cruise control to same speed and you'll fell a second jerk the second time it jerks, the intercooler pump reengages thats a very good test.
-intercooler leaks the one directly under the kompressor
let me know if you want more!
