Can you post the part # for the plug? How long did it take to do the job?
I REPLACED IT IN MINE MYSELF AND ITS NOT HARD AT ALL. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS REMOVE THE REAR SEAT UNBLOLT THE COVER UNDER THE PASSANGER SIDE AND UNSCREW THE TOP THATS ON THE TANK AND THE REST IS SELF EXPLANATORY. I REPLACE THE SENDING UNIT AND THE PLUG ON THE DRIVER SIDE ALSO. I PAID ABOUT 850.00 FOR THE PUMP 250.00 FOR THE SENDING UNIT AND 30 FOR THE PLUG. IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN I'D DO THE PLUG FIRST. REASON IS AFTER I REPLACE THE SENDING UNIT THAT DIDNT FIX THE PROBLEM THEN I DID THE PUMP AND THAT DIDNT FIX IT EITHER AND GUESS WHAT IT WAS THE PLUG. I REPLACED THE PLUG AND SO FAR ALMOST A YEAR LATER NO PROBLEMS. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED THE PART #'S AS I HAVE THE MB BOXES WITH THE OLD PARTS.

You know I have noting done to the car. If you want I'll even give
You the jump plus one car. Does that seem fair? LOL I think a 300 pound
Guy on a 600 rr passing by a c32 would be a sight to see. LOL let me know when your ready.

sounds like airplane
has anyone tried running a different pump?
My fuel pump easily, horrendously outflows the stock pump on these cars and is under $300 new retail.
I have also upgraded fuel pumps on 4 other cars I've owned in the past (which were putting down between 300 and 500 hp) and never spent more than $220 for a pump (in-tank or in-line).
I know there are a lot of benz computer intricacies etc. etc., but it can't be that much more complicated than working with my '99 and although the ful pump has an effect on the AFRs a bit the car has run perfectly fine after each fuel pump change I have made (I've had 3 or 4 in there now). I'm sure there is a pump out there that is the same as the stock one flow wise made by bosch or pierburg which can be picked up for under $300. Of course it will take some thought to figure out which one that is.

i have no doubt they can probably be upgraded. unfortunately there isn't much aftermarket development for the c32. most of it has been done by LET and code3. but i don't really think anyone's really hit the limit of the stock fuel pump yet.

Drew,
The time you ran in the 1/8 mile is not consistent with just
An intake. Do you really think that time is possible?
I ran my car with just the intake and did an 8.8 I belive with a
.525 reaction time and to which is near perfect at that track to
My knowlage. And you ran what an 8.5 I belive. I wasn't born
Yesterday Drew. If you want to run my c32 than let me look under the
Hood so I can verify both cars are the same and idbe glad to race you.
Or I wont check and run my bike. Btw sorry to everyone for the off topic.

I'm too far from Miami to run either of ya'll!
I keep up with most people on 600s fairly well
