Hey guys i'm looking into adding a little personal touch to my car i was looking into getting Illuminated Door Sills but i want them in Red color, do u know where i might be able to get a red light for the door sills. and i was also wondering if any one know where i can get red panel lights too? for the under body of the car.?

i cant seem to find them in red they are all blue or white.

For the door sills, just get red EL strips. You'll have a set of useless blue or white EL strips, but I'm just emphasizing the fact that it's not as difficult as it may seem Just look up EL strip on eBay or even google.

would they plug in just like the stock Mercedes-Benz ones do? or will they be different?

dealer has the red light strip for the sills at around $300. sills are $500.
i like them too but charging $800 plus 4 hours of labor at $115/hr is gouging the customer big time. and my dealer won't install aftermarket sills. but the factory sills shut off after a minute if the door is still open. good feature.don't know if the aftermarket ones are like that.

well my dealer does not have the red door sills, i have talked to them over and over again, and i installed the door sills in my old car its a long job but if u have help u can get it all done with in 5-6 hrs. its kind of tricky but its not too hard to do. but u just have to work at it and try not to cut any corners. i will try talking to my dealer if they have the red units in.
