C55 AMG wagon vs C55 sedan vs S350

C55 AMG wagon vs C55 sedan vs S350
Hi first time user here.
I'm in the market for a car to buy for my dad as a 50th birthday present. Basically I'm only looking at MBs and well it has come down to 3 cars :
- S350
- C55T AMG
- C55 AMG
The S350 is a big car, we already have a 280SE and while it is spacious I'm considering something a little smaller and more manageable (parking and handling). I've no idea how much smaller the C55 is but is it like a BMW 3 series or closer to the 5 series? If the C55 is too small then I'll probably have to look at the S350. My dad wouldn't care as they're both MBs :-D
I am attracted to the C55T which I have never seen mentioned on this forum (tried the search). It seems practical as a wagon. Can anybody tell me more about this car and its dimensions. There is also a C55 AMG sedan on offer, though I would like to know more about the wagon if it would make for a better state-by-state traveller (we drive and travel a lot). The E55 would be perfect but unfortunately is out of my budget.
