Outrun doubtful.. Keep up, I'm sure..

I have a 335i.. My c32 was definitely faster stock until I chipped the 335. I don't think the 200 lbs will make that big of a difference. Now with couple of cheap mods..

What version software are you running on the 335? How do you think you C32 with a pulley would fair to your 335 with software? There are some guys on the bimmer board with the procede software that have gotten huge gains just by adding it.

This is the next big track car. A few local tuners I have talked with about the 1 series say it will dominate the track.

One local tuner said is uses the same turbo as the 335 and the same ECU. Now imagine that puppy with 375Whp.

the 135i will have the exact same engine as the 335i. with the twin turbos. smaller, lighter, more agile, good weight balance = death on the track.

its pretty much the modern version of the old m3

135 is among my fav cars that are going to be coming out. When I need to replace the 32, I will pick one up... then sell that when the 63 prices go down.

Overall I am in love with the 135, cant wait to see tuners who get this car to stomp the new M3. The m3 is so maxed out and this car has so much potential... really cant wait for whats to come.

Except the Old M3 didnt weigh 3252 lbs. Even my A4 is Lighter than the 135i at 3180. The E30 weighed 2733 lbs.

I was expecting this car to weigh much less, its still a heavy brute.

i believe this car, 200 lbs lighter than the 335i, will certainly keep up with a stock C32. not a modded one though. the mods for these motors are popping up a lot now. in fact, i just found a mod for them called the 'Juice Box" which has different settings. The stage II version costs 389 and bumps up hp and tq a lot! website has dynos and says avg gains are 35-45 whp and 45-60 wtorque. boost raised from 8 to 9.75 psi. i've been a member of several bmw forums now for a couple of months and apparently, a lot of the 335i's are using this setup as it has very similar results to the Vishnu/Xede/AA tunes/chips. here is the link:

http://www.bmwjuice.com/

a matter of fact, i believe the guy who made this product has the fastest 335i on the stock turbos right now. i believe he ran a 12.4 at 112 with his kit and radials.

Before it is a track car you need to address cooling issues. Even the cars with oil coolers are shutting down when driven hard. I am doing some testing on a 335i soon and we have a good idea that these cars are all shutting down for a reason no one has thought about. Oil temps look fine in accordance with BMW factory specs.

This is a great motor but there are some issues that need to be fixed before you can track the car regularly.

I think its the perfect looking small coupe BMW. Best looking BMW on the market today.

Looks are subjective. I to will look into getting a 135i. Its going to be a fantastic car.

Some comments:

I have the AA Xede.. I believe a C32 with pulleys would be about equal to a 335i chipped. The new Procede is pumping out a few more horses that me though..

Cyncarvin there is a remedy to the head soak problem.. There is an intercooler swap that will completely eliminate the problem. Of course it's not cheap.. but if you are going to track your car what's an extra $1000? LOL I have never even come close to heat issues, but I don't track my car either.

For the record I think the 135 is kinda ugly, but seems like an interesting new model. I am also not very fond of the new M3.. but hey, at least they are putting our a 4 door model again! Regardless, I am still planning on the C63..

What do you guys think is the reason that no one has thought?

Something is just wrong with it...from some angels it's alright.

My dad really wants one "to throw around everyday"

I think I'd rather have a e46 M3 over the new M3, 335i, or this.

I heard the same thing from a track instructor. I was curious when someone would bring this point up.

for a daily driver.. is perfect.

piggy back,

FMIC

and 2nd cat deletes

and bingo!!!

I like the E92 coupe.. I realldy do... but what I really like the most is the 3L TT engine and the transmission.

Put that engine on a Dodge Neon..and I would still buy one.

If I wanted looks and power.. I would buy an Audi S5.

so its official... 200lbs and depend what options you get.. it could be more or less.

I'm still sold on the C63... but if the budget is tight.. 135 and debage and add the mods listed above.

13.00 / 110 traps.. on street tires and great MPG!!!

Heh, you just bought your C32, like me! Can't break up our white C32 club on here. It's neat but I'm going to stick with the C32 for at least three years. I'd probably be more tempted if it was available in a sedan or hatchback. I'm not a fan of coupes like this. If the 5.1 0-60 is accurate, it isn't as quick as a C32, which was in the 4.9 range.
