2005/2006 C55 Values

Hi,

I'm new to the board and wonder what you all would pay for a C55. Assume milage is 30,000 and the car is in great condition.

Thanks,

My thoughts...but check kbb as well

2005 no nav - 34K to 35K
2005 Nav add 1K to the price

2006 no nav 37-38
add 1K for nav...

of course you'd need to adjust for lighting package, premium package, sirius, etc.

2005 C55 AMG
The prices listed by CDD are what typically are listed on ebay, yet none of them seem to sell for near that. I just purchased mine a little over 2 weeks ago, but I had been tracking them on ebay for two+ months previously. Typically the mileage and condition you describe would end up with the auction ending and the reserve not met. I paid $31,850 for mine from a dealership. It had 51k miles, and every available option.
Interior condition = excellent. Exterior = good. Runs strong.

Here are some example auctions:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...207771295&rd=1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...200369744&rd=1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...200893402&rd=1

At the end of the day, it's worth whatever someone will pay for it. List it above the price you want, and give yourself some haggle room to go down to your ultimate end goal. That's always the case though...
Dealerships also seem to be giving good trade-in dollars on C55's right now towards a new MB purchase.

KBB values mine a little over $40,000, with 7xxx miles.

But on the note of the dealerships...I was toying around with the idea of getting a used E55 (05, black on black, 30xxx miles...just a bit too many), and one dealership said if I traded in the C55, I'd get a "helluva deal." Who knows what that means!

haha, no kidding... dealers LOVE when you trade in one car to buy another, because it gives them more flexibility in structuring the deal and still spinning it to sound like you made out really well.
