Goodbye C32 -> C63 order in place *pic's inc
Well after several years of autocrosses, track events and enjoying the hell out of my C32, I have sold it off to a member of the MBworld community. The order (promise to buy rather) for a new black beauty is in place, alias C63 AMG.
- wave - you've done me proud
To hold over my power hunger I recently bailed out a friend in need. With job cut's he was between contracts and needed some financial assistance, so I purchased his 2006 Mustang GT, slightly modified for a fair rate. Headers, Heads, Cam's, Exhaust, Chip, Plugs, Intake, 4:10 Gears, some appearance upgrades along with a few other adjustments (dyno tuned). This gives me an insight for a bit of why i love German made cars but do not discount the power of a American V8.
Now the only pictures i have right now are at a very good friend of mines hanger. He's a bit of a car enthusiast to say the least, being the owner of a 2006 Mercedes Mclaren, 2002 Lambo Diablo SV, 2007 Porsche GT, 2007 Ferrari F430, 2006 Porche Cayenne Turbo S, and the only 2008 Ferrari 599 GTB in the country atm.
Here are some shots with my new Mustang next to these beauties
More to come

Here is a video i made walking around the new 599 GTB

Ordered it through Ferrari of Atlanta like 2 years ago, before they were even made. Missed the ticket on the 2007's, then got the first one in the US titled, technically there were 2 in the container, the other went up to the autoshow last weekend.

The 599 GTB is by far my fav car at the moment. I was extremely lucky to drive one that our family friend owns and it is by far the most useful supercar out there. I was aboslutely scared out of my mind driving something worth over 25 times what my car is worth, but it was awesome. Not only does it ride smoother than our E550 because of the magnetic suspension, but it even gets over the speedbumps on our street without even needing to raise the ride height (which my college buddy's NSX's and E36 cant clear without scraping). Absolutely the perfect daily driver, although I'd be a little worried leaving it in downtown Oakland haha.
I've seen a total of 3 599GTB's, A cambio manuale (has to be one of the rarest 599's out there) at the SF autoshow, our friend's, and one rosso cambio sequenziale in Honolulu this past december.
I have to say it in Italian because it's true: la 599 GTB è assolutamente la perfetta macchina!

Great pictures, thanks for posting.
Not a huge F-car fan but hard to believe the luxurious 599 can hit 100mph in 7.4 seconds while the Carrera GT is just an exotic masterpiece.
Very clean C32 by the way. Good luck with the C63, it's a really good car and as you noted, can be parked in Oakland.
