LET tune feedback!

First of all I would like to thank Jerry for the excellent customer service he provided. I mean when someone physically makes sure the UPS guy puts your package on the truck you know your in good hands. As far as the tune goes all I can say is daaaamn, I can't believe how much better the car performs. I have 19's on the back and have never been able to break them loose. Well thats not a problem now, I can spin all the way through 1st gear and the shift points are higher now. If your were thinking of getting a tune do it for sure because you have some untapped power just waiting to be unleashed!!!! Thanks again LET motorsports

Wow, do you think it's the altitude? I have 265-19's and I have always been able to spin them too easily even bone stock.

But I do admit, you all are tempting me to do the Jerry tune now!

It's the altitude for sure, I have had my car at lowers altitudes and it's a beast. If I were to run at sea level I would be about a second faster in the 1/4 mile. And do the Jerry tune! You will love it especially with your pulley, And it's really affordable. DO IT! DO IT NOW!

C32used turned me on to it (Victor) so I am thankful to him for that. I 've been driving with the Code III pulley for about 5 weeks now and did notice a difference in power, BUT felt the car was lean, (Which it was, Jerry and I checked it out). We enriched it (more gas) and now its very strong. In the industrial park yesterday, I wore off about 1 years life off the Michelins Sport Pilot IIs in first gear and halfway into second. I also LOVE the sound of the Code III intake (that whine is great and really gets people look at ya). Its not annoying if you are out on the town and just cruising. I love it when you jump on it though and it starts hissing like a rattler ready to strike.

Thanks! I refer people who I see do good work but many times LET's Jerry does above and beyond the norm for not just me but all others who entrust their cars to them. Pretty sure Brandon may be the same but can't say so since he and I live in different states. Both Erick and Jerry are guys who really get into their work rather personnal or LET. Back to the Tune....all I can say is LET should try to get discount on tires to offer us...

LET tuned and running strong. Plus, I just changed my belt this weekend (trying different belt & idler pulley configurations to minimize slip with the ASP + Code3) so I was going easy on my way to work this morning while it's still bedding in. I saw 21mpg on the dash with a mix of highway and city.

My "After Start" is averaging 22.5 with the 'jerry tune" and is about the same as before. I have a slow commute so a LOt of stop and go and then once on the highway, it moves pretty good. My average is 20.0 so I feel that is pretty good for an almost 4000 LB car and well over 70 MPH with avg over 50 MPH. Car pulls strong as ever.

Anyone see my note from MB about the 2000-2003 Cats?? I wonder if this applies to C32s???

Eleventeen any updates on your new belt and idler pulley combo's, I'm very interested in your results. I need to reduce the belt slip with the code3 +Evo pulley setup.

Running killer! It was 95 degrees the other day and I had the A/C on and it still pulls like a train. Now I just need my phenolics-hint hint.

Hahaha... I can only imagine - can't wait to see your results Jerry.

Mine's running strong - my only curiosity is that the timing seems to be anywhere from +18 deg to -28.5 deg, for a normal trip... I never had any stock datalogging, so I don't know if that's to be expected, or not.

Also, to date, I've hit 22.8 psi - this has been normal driving; we'll see if it's any higher when REALLY getting after it

Still trying some things. The Gatorback belt I got is about 1/2" longer than stock. I thought it might be just right since the stock belt was a little tight (barely any room to move the tensioner, but no belt slip), but that 1/2" put a lot more play back in. I think I will try a 100mm idler pulley to put a little more tension on the belt. Honestly though, the belt might need to bed in a little longer to get full traction on the pulley. I've only had it on for a little under a week.

Otherwise, the car is running great with LET tune!!!

Jerrys car is a monster.....

Well..i guess 52 runs on the dyno in a day will get that tune down to perfect quite nicely!
