Anyone with LET heat exchanger install docs?

I just ordered the ECU mod from them and looking to glance over what all is needed to install the heat exchanger. Sounds like I'll need some help and looking for anyone who has done this or looking to do in my area.

splinter did an excellent DIY of the LET HE, including useful pics. I wouldn't have been able to tackle the job without them - sincerely. Since I just did this exact job roughly a month ago, the install is pretty fresh in my mind... you're welcome to PM me if you hit any snags (or, of course, call LET - Erick's always been very responsive whenever I've had any questions).

Hopefully posting a link to a different MB forum isn't against the rules...?

Thanks. I look at the link and check out his write up. I did a basic search on
LET heat exchanger install and came up with zippy. I could have fat fingered it though. Thanks again.

once you get the bumber off its clear sailing until you have to get the bumper back on. (kinda a pain)

The bumper on/off I would say is a 2 man job to save the paint. The HE install is cake itself.

Yup, most tasks are invariably easier when someone else is schlepping the tools.
DIFM = far less rewarding, imho.

trbo2nr: Budget ~two hours’ investment from your competent technician who’s previously completed an installation.

Well I had no choice I used to be a handy man and bought tools over the years to help me do pretty much any task but since late 03 I suffered a partial right arm loss and ontop of that a stroke so my good hand is affected...so my handy man days are lesser now

Nah, no worries, bro. I’m just playin’ with those in fear of a well-stocked tool chest and the pleasure it can avail.

Best wishes from all of us for a prompt and speedy recovery to full vigor, Victor.

Yep, I used Splinter's thread, and it worked like a charm

About 2-3 hours by myself, with a few headaches, aka C3's original HE just wasn't a perfect fit, but it sure works great.

See yeah

PS: Save the beer for last just in case my friends, and then go for a LONG fun run
