My new '03 C32 AMG
Guys,
I've been busy trying to fix the small quirks with my new car, and forgot to formally introduce myself. I just got my '03 Black C32 about 12 days ago, and been loving it! It has 60,000 in the odometer when I got it.
I'm already taking her to get tuned up right by our friends at LETMotorsport over the weekend and that will be a fun ride down to Houston.
So far, here is the list of mods that I've done:
Smoke Side Markers
Sprintbooster AMG Edition
Resonator Delete
Flat MB Badge
CL Style Grille
Authentic 18" Brabus Mono IV Rims w/ Black centers (not installed yet, need to get tires after trip)
Window Tint
This coming weekend, I'm having installed:
Johnson IC Pump
Heat Exchanger
181mm Pulley
ECU tune
Phenolic Spacers
SL55 Intake with K&N filters (possible)
NGK Colder Spark Plugs (possible)
LET Motorsport Ignition Wires (possible)
Future Mods:
Radiator change to Behr (I have Valeo but not on recall list, but rather change than be sorry...Not really a mod)
Bi-Xenons
C55 Rear trunk spoiler
CF Front Lip
Quaife LSD (maybe)
Headers
1" Drop and H&R Springs
Kickass sound system (way into the future)
I'm already loving the resonator delete and the sprintbooster.

You're gonna love it!!! Great car, easy to mod and is decently reliable if you take care of it!!! Just watch the IATs down there in hot old Texas!!

Wow not wasting any time! But you're in the best place for tuning so you'll end up with quite a beast when you're done.
Post some pics once you get the rims on!

Yeah, I set a budget and try to do things to my car as soon possible. Especially, the known issues, I want to make sure those are taken care off first.

MBWorld Fanatic!
You are heading in the right direction... and at a very fast pace!
If you don't have a radar dectector, see if you can borrow one this weekend... you are going to need it; specially on your way back to Dallas after all those upgrades.
I have 18 of your 22 listed mods and it's simply a different car. Nice choice going with LET.

ECU tune (waiting, maybe tomorrow)
Phenolic Spacers (installed)
K&N Filters (installed)
Bi-Xenons (installed) (waiting for Sunil to update ECU for Bi-Xenons, I used to have Halogen frosty's...Yeah, a big improvement!)
I highly LETMotorsports, the 4+ hour drive is well worth it! Erick is fantastic to conduct business with, very professional and very helpful. I will definitely come back for more mods in the near future.
