Problems with C32- Best dealership

Hi Guys,
I have been a proud owner of a 2002 C32 since 2004. However, here are a list of problems that I have had with it :
1. TSB Recall on changing the electrical connection to the turn signals
2. Heated seat pads on the bottom not working in the passenger and driver side (Not covered by extended warranty )
3. IC pump failed-replaced
4. Idler pulley damaged replaced.
5. Clutch pulley seized on the highway, red light on, engine shut off and power steering did not work as belt broke. Serious damage done. All pulley changed.
6. Jerks between 2 and 3rd gear-first transmission flush and glycol test (negative) done again 2 months later (glycol test positive) rad changed tranny flushed, ecu software updated, valves changed. Taken in again-for jerks tranny flushed, finally Mercedes Benz head office okayed tranny change completely.
7. Headlight bulb on passenger side blew twice over two years.
8. Battery replaced as older one died.
9. Rust noted on Fender and entire car was looked at and rust protected and repaired all under warranty.

Do I still love the car ? yes I do, it was well built and rides like a charm and has power to kick *** when I need to.

Lessons learnt:
Take extended warranty.
Be Persistent with the dealers, go to multiple ones with your problems and take note of what the service advisor says.
Keep all repair records and ask the service advisors questions about what is covered by warranty and what is not. Soem advisors are idiots and plain stupid, others know what they are talking about.

I live in Brampton, ON, Canada and I have been to dealers as far as Hamilton and just to get opinions and here is my ranking of the best and worst dealrships.

Mississauga- Do not go here unless you got money to spend. The employees here are spoilt. I made three referrals for people to go here and buy Benz, and all bought BMW, it was just the sales service. I think this dealerhip is owned by Mercedes Benz Head office. They treat you like you got moeny oozing out of everywhere.

Garden Motor Car-Burlington- Very nice dealerhip, service advisors and mechanics are great. The service advisor is very helpful and will go out of his way to get things done and help you. He told me a lot fo stuff that was covered by warranty which Oakville Dealership told me was not covered by warranty, such as Rust, and my seizing of Clutch pulley and belt break. Garden Motor car is a great service provider.

Oakville-Autohaus....Another legal looter, they say nothign is covered under warranty without even checking. New owner I think, wants to save as much money as he can, services clients who got money grwoing on trees no not the place where one finds good MB knowledge. Perhaps good sales record for people who want to flask the MB sign and ride, not for enthusiasts.

Good luck everyone with their C32, if anyone has other issues or problems they need to make people aware of, then let them know so we can all benefit as long as our warranty lasts.
cheers

I did the extended warranty too. Great to have...... though mine will run out in another 45,000 miles.
