I had extended warranty on my C32 and it paid for itself. I also purchased it for my C55 although the regular warranty is good for another few years yet..

I just blew through the Starmark 100K warranty and am at 102K now.
I must say that there has probably been 12-15K in warranty work (at some point, you just stop counting and don't really want to know anymore), but the good news is that it really has been bulletproof for a long time since my last warranty work (other than a few nagging problems from way back they simply hadn't solved completely until recently).
I have added some simple mods (don't want to blow the elder statesman of a motor just yet) and am fairly confident that most of the main issues have been taken care of and it's a pretty tough car for the long run.
I do drive it rather hard and really can't quite convince myself to take it easy every time that freeway onramp presents itself and the only gap I can make will require an all-out hammering of the throttle. Let's hope she holds together, or she's gonna cost me. "No honey, I'm talking about the car"
Anyway, I have confidence in the car over the next 60K miles or so. I guess we'll see.

i dont have warranty with 81k on the car. I bought it last dec with 60k, so i do a lot of driving. Only really issue for me was the seat control modules. If your a diy'er, its not bad. If you bought the care used, most of the time the previous owner already address most of the common problems when the car was under warranty.

I am the original owner, and my c32 has been really reliable. I am not much of a DIY'er, but don't have any issues paying to fix normal stuff. I just fear running into a tear jerking bill at some point.

if you haven't had any real problems by now, you probably won't. Just looking at the other threads, it looks like most of the problems show up early. Only thing i would do, is a glycol test to make sure your radiator isn't leaking.

There are no reputable insurance carriers offering coverage for the C32 in California. They hate our cars.
Also, it is illegal, in California, for anyone but a dealer to sell extended coverage policies.
We are just up SCW/OaP.
