Question about the OEM bi-xenon headlights

I was searching through the threads about Bi-xenon headlights, but I don't think any of them applied to me.. so I just got a brand new right bi-xenon headlight, and when I turn my lights on, it seems like my older one was way brighter and more intense than the new one. Is there some sort of break in for xenon headlights? Do you think the xenon "present" procedure would help my case? Not sure what the deal is..

If you had xenon then xenon present is already your setting so there's no need to redo it. Are they the same version of BIX with the same bulbs?

none
it may be the bulb or a weak ballast
Swap bulbs and ballasts to see

Yes, they are the same exact bulbs. However I looked at them today, and it seems the new one looks to be about the same as the old one... I guess it needed to be on for a couple hours.
