C32 Rear Brakes Conversion Question
What would be a bolt on rear brake system that I can use on my C32?
I would like it to be MB if possible. I want to be able to buy pads easily.
I was chatting with sme guy that waas replacing the pads on his Lexus "F". He told me that he paid $700 for just the pads at the Lexus dealership.
How much should I expect to pay for the C32?

silver 2002 c32 amg
Some time ago I was looking to change my rear discs for vented and cross drilled ones (mainly for the look ) but found that no one seemed able to supply what I wanted
then after doing some research I found that the rear discs from the old R129 silver arrow were the same size and are in fact vented and cross drilled so should fit the C32
without issue
I never went ahead with them so couldn't be certain but I don't see why not
The part number for the drilled OE 300x22 rear rotor is I believe 129-423-05-12 and list price was something like $90 each.

I have two questions for you my friend:
1. Just what are you trying to accomplish here, looks or performance?
2. You do realilize that the fronts do 80% of the work?
Now if its the frist, aka looks, several companies offer slotted/drilled/even dimpled rotors.
If its for performance, well the stocks with a good pad ALREADY are track worthy. If your still serious about performace, Brembo offers two different upgrades put at a fairly STEEP price, aka $4k a hit.
See yeah

I want a nicer looking rear caliper. the fronts look so damn nice that if makes the rears look pretty "plain". I certainly dont want to upset the braking balance either. So, I suppose that I will just pull off the calipers and do a nice repaint on them.

There is no doubt that the brakes are already good enough strainght from the AMG factory. I dont think I would even need more from the stock setup whether on the street or track.

And I will definitly agree, the rear stock look out of place compared to our lovely front, muti piston AMG lettered calipers
