Huge Thank You to you all!

I would like to take a moment to thank all the members of this forum who have inspired me an followed me on this modding journey. I've never been on a forum as friendly as MBworld.

I've been into cars since my early teens, but never thought my fastest car to date would be a Mercedes. I have to say (and I'm being honest) thats because you you guys.

Here is just a little list of some members who have inspired me to try and take my car to the limit.

C55asleep? (gone but not forgotten)
Cruzinquick
Chriomikey
Blackbenzz
loungin14
jturkel
wawy
goalie_K

To all of you, not just the ones I've mentioned. Thank you for following my posts and this crazy journey (thats not over).

Also If its wasn't for all the C32 guys taking their cars to the limit. I may not have been so inclined to do so. You guys rock.

I think a lot us here would like to thank you as well for your contributions. You've brought a lot to this forum in the way of knowledge, inspiration, entertainment and a willingness to help others. Posting your impressions backed up by countless objective dynos of mods (Headers, crank pulley, airbox, ecu upgrades etc) have been an invaluable source of information to myself and others. You've shown the N/A boys that anything is possible and with your most recent project have taken it to the ultimate level. I've thoroughly enjoyed all the stuff you post and hope to do so for a long time to come! This is the way our forum is supposed to work!! A thank you from all of us!

I need to recoup some cash after this project. I'm hoping to build a motor with in the year no promises yet, still looking for a core.

You are more then welcomed Hooleyboy

You inspired us C32 crowds to consider the C55 more with this project that was undertaken giving us more affordability to jump over and not have to spend alot to jump into a C63 if we choose not to...keep up the good work

Our work isn't done until we have a 11 sec time slip in hand. Even if it's in another state. LOL.

I noticed there was like no water in the water box. making for a bad burnout. We still have some mapping issues to work out. If you watch the video again about 3/4 down the tack the car shifts and you can hear it go slightly lean. I have a new map in the works to fix the trouble spot.

The car is running really good. I noticed some shift delay, more so then when i was N/A. I think its because the ECU has never seen hard shifts through the gears. when we go dynos its only has a chance to learn in 4 gear. I'm bringing it to the shop Monday for some intake work and a new intercooler pump.

My car needs a seafoam treatment for sure

Thanks Hooleyboy, there is no doubt in my mind that you will run a 11.7@121!! Believe me.... Btw great job but can you please get an LSD!!! Without it you will be spinning tires halfway down the track, reminds me of myself LOL. I've been following the project but just been busy with my truck and trying to get in the 12's and finally got it. Well keep up your dedication.

I have bored my wife to death giving her updates on your build, as if she cared. She is thankful your project is done for the most part.haha
The fine tuning will never end so long as you own the car. ;-)

IT had a problem with the throttle body slapping shut at 1800-2800 rpms under very slight pedal pressure... Dyno-Comp worked hard on this simulating even being able to simulate it on their dyno. Once an updated new map was installed the problem was fixed...

The car is totally sublime around town, completely functional. Its almost like I didnt do anything. As soon as you step on the gas to WOT its a becomes totally insane.
