C55 Booster

I can't find any instructions for installation of the sprint booster on a C55. I know a bunch of folks have them on - can someone help me out with instructions? Thanks . . .

Pop off the button underneath the gas pedal with a thin flathead, then take off the nut (10mm, I believe). Remove gas pedal, plug in the SB in series, reinstall the boot while stuffing the SB in the area above the pedal, tighten the nut again, put the button back on top, and enjoy.

It is - fishing around to get the pedal back up in the proper position is the only really tricky part.

Oh, thanks. I must have missed it - I checked the forum this morning for new threads to see if I had a response rather than going back to find that particular thread. My bad. Appreciate the feedback!

Debating whether to put your Sprintbooster back on, Josh. I took it off while diagnosing some issues with my car, but now I think it might cause even more premature rear tire wear!! LOL

lol.....be prepared to purchase more tires! haha. if you really want to, go for it.......i'm trying (i emphasize the"trying") to conserve my tires for some runs when it gets colder. after the retune, traction will be a major issue for both of us. haha......good think hooley is nice enough to let me borrow his slicks for the track, or else i will be spinning nonstop

no power is gained. just makes the car feel faster by advancing the throttle position a little. definitely NOT worth 350, considering you should be able to get one for 200-250. IMO, its not worth it unless you are bored and are done modding your car's suspension, performance, and aesthetics. i got rid of mine b/c i figured i would just depress the pedal quicker or more if i wanted it to be faster lol.
