if you have the plastic flappers in the rad support then you should be able to do it. it will require removing them and they dont come out without a fight! so look carefully and be sure you have the time to do it right. mine is a weekender car so it doesnt matter if it sits for a few weeks waiting on the right stuff

I decided to take a different approach to making the rear intake. Took the OE splitter plate, and drilled many small holes. Similar to the OE silencers. I then used a $4 dollar FRAM air filter for the filter material, and the cover screen. Had aluminum sheet laying around in the garage from my previous custom intake on the sportcoupe. Placed two sheets of filter material, and sealed with metallic tape. The C32 sounds amazing now! I thought the sportcoupe was great after ASP pulley, and silencer removed. It doesn't compare to the sound of this supercharged v6! Acceleration seems to be slightly faster now. Throttle response is definitely better!

Simple, it lets more air in. Hence more pwoer

Down sides:

1. This air is HOT, potential loss of power
2. This air is NOT filtered as well, well you can guess this one guys

1. The benefit of less air restriction in the intake will gain you more power than what could possible be lost due to heat. To let you know, I drove around for two hours, and when I got home checked the new filter. It was cool to the touch...

2. I've heard a lot of people are using vent filters, and such from Home Depot, or whatever. Those filters do not filter as good as automotive quality air filters. That's why I looked around for an automotive filter that could be used...

3. Increased supercharger sound.
4. I assume only increases in power are made after installing an overdrive pulley.
5. Throttle response is better.
