Murdered C55
 

Does anyone have pictures they can post of a murdered out C55? I'm thinking about going with the matte black paint job and want to see how it looks before I drop the money on it.

mdncn2762 has a "murdered out" W203 with several pictures. Should be close enuogh to the 55 to give you an idea of what it would look like.

My car is pretty close other than the headlights/fogs/wheels

advans' C55 is more murdered out than mine. He posted a thread a week or two ago with a matte black vinyl on part of the hood. https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...black-c55.html

If it's not a daily driver, maybe you could go with vinyl. If you ever want to change it back you can and it preserves the paint, only down side I can think of is that it probably will not last long if the car is a daily driver or exposed to the elements often and it's still a bit pricey.

I saw a thread where some one vinyl wrapped their car in matte white, it looked awesome, but I can't seem to find it any more.

Mine isn't murdered out, but I have dark colored wheels, dark tint, and painted headlight shrouds. Since this picture, I've put in a CLK grille if that matters. New pictures will probably come this weekend since I spent 8 hours last weekend detailing the paint.

I had but I need to collect them from my uncle. I can think of is that it probably will not last long if the car is a daily driver or exposed to the elements often and it's still a bit pricey.

your car looks great. I have a CLK 55 and am looking at painting my grille black too. Did you paint directly on top of the chrome, or buy another grill that had primer?

I'd lose the c55 badge and move the Renntech badge over.
