Removed CD changer, radio doesnt work
When i was doing my V1 install this weekend i tried to remove my cd changer since i never use it. Had the radio on while doing this and noticed that whenever i unplugged either of the cd changer wires that the radio stopped playing.
Dug into the center console a bit and saw that the radio wire runs through the cd changer. Do i need something to cap off the cd changer wires to remove the changer?

You need to reconfigure your D2B fiber loop. The orange lines are fiber optics and make a loop through each component. Then you need to have the dealer hook up Star and delete the changer in the settings.

^ Is there a CDC setting? I just put mine in and it worked. Same with my TEL and VCS. I have NEVER had to configure my D2B at the dealer, and my car came with nothing attached to the loop other than the radio.
If you have the radio only, just unplug the D2B wires from the radio. The D2B does absolutely nothing if you don't have the CDC or Tele-Aid.
