Can't emphasize this enough! You will be / for not doing it when you had the chance. When I have the time/resources I think I will get the bumper resprayed and then have a 3M installed simultaneously.

Very nice looking car masterianvii, you do Iridium Silver proud.

It's probably cheaper to get the front bumper repainted a a GOOD shop than to worry about putting a clear film on the front which doesn't look that great IMO. especially the edge across the hood.

But they are removable and the paint underneath will be protected.

I agree with your comments on the lines. However, that should not really be an issue if you limit the coverage to just the front bumper itself.

Well think about it: The front element on a $1,000+ dollar lens is going to be optically superior to the glass in a $40.00 CP.

You will enjoy it, I assure you. It comes in handy.
I have used one, and yes it can come in handy. But most people don't know how/when to use them, they just think slapping one on the front if their Rebel and kit lens is instantly going to make their photos magic.

You should only use a CP when you are shooting 90 degrees from your light source, rotating the front element will allow you to select which direction to polarize depending on you relationship to the light source. Using a CP in anything but a 90 degree angle is going to be less effective, and induce some of the negatives I talked about in my earlier thread (muddy colors, glare, reduced contrast, etc). Within that 90 degree angle, only about +/- 5 degrees on either side will produce effective results, about 30-40 degrees from your reflection source.

Start shooting with Leica, Zeiss, etc and you'll think twice about covering up your $2,500.00 lens with some cheap POS glass

Anyways, beautiful car, I've got the same one, but with COMMAND and 35,500 miles
