Stock CD changer not playing burned CDs?

Does everyone have the same experience? I made a burned CD and the head unit recognizes it and shows the amount of tracks on it but does not play? Any feedback?

Yea, I had that same issue.. Maybe its because the way the CD was burned.. Did you burn it as mp3? Honestly, I stopped using my CDC long long time ago..

I almost exclusively play burned CD's in my changer. I've never had a problem. You just have to make sure to burn them as audio CD's and not just MP3 data Cd's.

It is probably the way you burned it. I can play cd-rw in cd changer. Though the cd changer is picky every now and then and says it can not read the cd's. I just eject the magazine and re insert it in again (sometimes takes a few tries) and everything plays fine.

I burned it using windows media player as an audio track format, not a data mp3 format. Maybe I will try a slower burn or the next one might work???

Slower burn might help. I listen to burned CD's all the time in my changer. No problems.

I have had the same problem and found the solution you suggest above to work.
