Have the mirror select button (for changing positions) set to the passenger mirror.

In addition to making sure the button is set for the right mirror, make sure that this option is turned on in the settings.

Oh, and if these are both done and the mirror isn't dropping, program it to the tilt position you would like (Page 111, I think, of the manual.) I just had to reset mine.
