Help one where to hook up a oil catch can
 

I've been wanting to install a aftermarket oil catch can but im not sure where to hook the lines up. I see on the drivers side valve cover the line goes to the intake, but on the passengers side it appears the line is going to the bottom of the throttle body if so should I route both lines to the catch can and cap off where it was originaly connected to the throttle body? :nix:

both sides go to the catch can. the pass side y at the t/b is capped off and the return from the catch can goesa to the t/b. look at needswings catch can for the c32. its reasonably priced and a complete kit with every thing you need

Would it be ok to run out going side from the catch can to intake tube on the drivers side instead of going to t/b, thanks for reply.

I second Steve's comment about going ahead and buying Needswings catchcan.

+1 for Rob at Needswings and the C32 products that he sells.

this defeats the purpose of the catch can. the vacuum made from the t/b draws the filtered fumes back into the engine to be burnt. the can catches the oil particles to be drained later. the way your wanting do just moves the oil laden fumes from one side to the other. the y tube is already in the t/b. a simple rubber cap seals one side off and allows the catch can to work

just remember theres more going on inside the catch can than meets the eye. stainless steel mesh media and more. look at robs setup its the best out there for your car and looks factory when installed. the price is spot on the best deal going

Reviving this thread for a quick question. I have Rob's catch can on its way and I'm buying other parts from the dealer to perform additional maintenance to the car. Am I gonna need the factory breather hoses that connect to the valve covers or I'm gonna use the hoses that comes with his kit? The stock ones will ned to be replaced, hence the question.

The kit contains all new lines, caps and clamps. Rob will send you a link to the instructions. The catch can really works great.
