honestly, I havent even taken it to the track since I've got my pulley, intake, heat exchanger, or anything really. I took it to the track when I had a tune only but couldnt get traction so never made it back. Track prep was poor and I was on 19's so traction was non existent.
I'm thinking about heading back this winter but the only local track here was closed down until they build a sound wall last I heard
What's your tire set up?

All of my runs have been on 275/35/19 street tires, 1.8 is my best 60' to date. I actually enjoy running on streets because it gives me a better representation of what my car can do all the time, not just when I have huge amounts of rubber out back. All races are done at full street trim, with the A/C blowing, half-tank of gas, and a Red Bull in the cupholder
The 12.3 run in my signature was at 1,800' DA with the Needswings single CAI, I have since upgraded to the dual (an additional 200cfm over the single).
I'm at the point now where drag radials are going to become a must, because the dual added a good deal of low-end grunt, and traction was already tedious. SRT Crossfires typically knock off two tenths by using drag radials. With a proper hook and decent conditions, should drop another 2-3 tenths off my PB.
I wish I would've raced with Craig @ Silver Dollar this weekend and enjoyed the negative DA... I likely would've kissed the 11's.

You should easily be 12.5-12.7 depending on hook. I forgot what the C32 weight penalty is, I'm at 32xx lbs

Without a doubt a pair of DR's out back and with the dual needswings you'll be in the 11's. Thats some good power!!
I'd like to be in the mid 12's with my mods but not sure if I'll ever get the chance to track her
Oh and as for your PB....it was obviously the Red Bull in the cup holder that did it. It give you wiiiings!

those crossfire's really cook at the strip. Same with the SLK32's for obvious reason. I believe that weight must have something to do with it as there's not much else different.

Hey Dude,
Do you get any drone from your exhaust?
I have secondary cat delete but still have resonator in place...
Thinking I might remove resonator aswell but don't want a constant drone as I still use the car for Sunday drives with my wife n 2 very young boys,
Cheerz

The drone isnt bad at all. The only drone you might encounter is going up hill at low RPM's but its still minimal.

New LED license plate bulbs. My LED bulbs kept burning out, they just get too hot I guess. So, I purchased the entire LED housing with the built in LED's. Looks great and work great too! I hope they last!

Stumbled on a complete replacement set for my Audi and they are doing great after a couple months of straight usage, I'm hoping the ones for my C55 will be just as reliable.

Here's the link I used for the appropriate info. According to the post, one has to be careful about which units are used. The seller I bought from was out of Hong Kong.

Here's an eBay link to the set I bought. I haven't installed them yet, but they appear to be the ones suggested in the 209 forum link.

I can't believe I've missed this thread for so long. Better late than never.
Dirty, the car is looking awesome. Congrats on the re-fresh (vandal motivated or not).
We still need to meet up for coffee and comparison; my completely stock C32 and your sexy sounding beast, sitting side by side...cool.
Until then, I'll just keep an eye out for you on the local streets.
