Dirty, the car is looking awesome. Congrats on the re-fresh (vandal motivated or not).

We still need to meet up for coffee and comparison; my completely stock C32 and your sexy sounding beast, sitting side by side...cool.

Until then, I'll just keep an eye out for you on the local streets.
That sounds like a great idea. It'd be awesome to see them side by side! I'm pretty busy through the rest of the year, but once the new year hits we should definitely get together for cars and coffee. I'll keep you posted.

and thanks for the kind words!

Where did you get your headlights? I've got the Bi-Xenon frostys on my C32 and have been looking to upgrade for awhile. Also, are they direct bulb swaps, from the OEM housing to the aftermarket?

my headlights are OEM bi-xenon. I believe the frosty's are not bi-xenon as the high beams are just halogen.

there are a few different routes to go for headlights, oem clear halogen, depo projectors, depo bi-xenons, or OEM bi-xenons. OEM bi-xenons are obviously the best but can be pretty pricey, but will be a plug and play and also keep your auto leveling working. Although, I'd say the best bang for your buck is the depo bi-xenons, the light output isnt the greatest but might be good enough. I had the depo projectors first and the beam pattern was *****....check ebay

Dont forget about the programming. Switching out oem halogens to xenons still require a star tool update to xenon present to make them work perfect.

Thank you!! A refresh is necessary, these cars being 10+ years old are almost impossible to keep perfect unless you never drive it, and where's the fun in that!

Update:

This weekend I replaced the left rear wheel bearing, and I must say was NOT fun at all. Took about 4 hours, and getting the hub off was about 1 hour of that. After being stuck on there for 10 years the last thing it wants to do was come off!

Also fixed the SRS warning light for passenger seat by replacing the seat pad. Looked like the seat heater burnt the old one and thats why it stopped working. Nonetheless, not having to clear that warning on the dash every time you start up the car is quite nice

UP NEXT:
PTE thermostat
New Mobil1 jet oil II for supercharger
Walker 81807 primary cats
Dip-Stick from an E350 (fits perfect) to check oil manually

A teal Vespa with tassles and glitter. You know you're jealous.
Looks SWEET!! Gorgeous car! Gives me high hopes for my refresh Im planning on doing in the spring. ( Front bumper took out a rabbit and knocked paint off and the hood has a couple small dings in it, being a bloack car they look like huge dents)

The H/E is a def eye catcher with the front lip as well. Car looks amazing!

Have you smogged the car? I'd love to open up the exhaust (eliminate primary/secondary) but just want to be sure I pass smog. Mine is coming up towards the end of next year

I have been debating the carbon fiber lip since I bought the car. I always thought it'd make the car un-driveable, too low, etc. And yes, it pretty much did all of that and has seen quite some abuse in the first month of its life but damn it looks good!!

I figure, its initial abuse is over and now that I have a better idea of what driveways I can and cannot enter/exit it shouldnt be too bad.

Can't really beat $200 for something that really adds to the aggressiveness of the front end.

yeah, I passed smog with only primary cats and muffler last year. These cars only really need 2 cats. Ask SoCalC55, I'm sure you could meet up and even listen to his car or drive it or something, he has res and secondaries deleted. If I remember correctly his name is Sean

exactly why I have not gotten one yet but the one on yours looks saweet! May have to just get one and be cautious of how I drive. amazing how one piece can change the entire stance of the car!
