H&S vs ASE vs Powerchip

1 - H&S chip

2 - amgc32 with the ASE chip and evosport odps

3 - Powerchip R&D'ed by evosport

Im about to purchase a chip & have no idea what to get..you guys with chips post some feedback!

with a really honest opinion....it depends on 2 factors:

1. which pulley are you going to install?
2. which gas octane disponibility and/or temperature you have where you live?

RENNtech = MBK (pulley and ECU) ....
:tyson:
Evosport pulley gives the more HP, I believe is bigger.

H&S with BMC, I did 309 rwhp & 305 rwtq...and you know the story after that.

Nertheless, if you do not have high gas octane disponibility and your town is always warm....I would go with EVOspot's ODPS+ECU kit for sure...ah, and headers well depends of your elevation.

im in houston (always humid) and run on 93 octane all the time. what did you dyno stock?

The Evosport pulley is a just a hair larger than the Renntech, so it delivers just a pinch more boost (almost nothing). BUT it is a ton lighter, maybe 7 lbs lighter or so (out of 9). It also offers better sized and lightened aux pulleys as well. Most of the felt difference between the two would be in weight and the better sized aux pulleys. Think quicker response vs more boost. Evo is much less expensive too.

The Evo cooling system will be a little better, but for the long haul, both systems will run warmer than stock. Evo will last longer before heat soak catches up to rob back some of the power that you added.

Certainly the ECU should be selected based on its tuning to your gas octane, and normal air temp, than to pulley size differences though. I think Pierre was saying this too, but I wanted to help clarify.
