I emailed Jerry at Eurocharged, waiting for him to email me back. My header fabricator recommended using a two V band flanges but that would require people to cut their stock down pipe. Most people want a simple bolt on type deal.

As I said if the headers are good then I don't think people will mind too much having a flange welded on if they absolutely have to. Its just with cheaply made poor quality headers you want to be able to easily go back to stock. kleemanns customers didn't mind.

They got the headers. They are going to use a manufacturer that requires 30 sets to be made. I am going to install the first set on my car and dyno before and after. I would expect these to be out by mid summer.

I asked for an update today. Waiting on response. Headers should have been shipped in today. I still have to schedule a date and time to drive 8 hrs to have the install and dyno completed.

Eurocharged was selling their last new sets of Shorty Headers for $399 which was just posted here in past week.
not saying one product is better than the other (EC vs Evo) but since Evo no longer makes them there is a risk you have with having a 3rd party to re-create the Evo's and then deal with quality issues etc with a reproduction version when for $399 you get a proven reliable product maybe up/down some HP or TQE but not enough in my mind to off set the risk of quality.
i'm awaiting my EC header install this week and will report back. interested to hear how these Evo shorty header reproduction turns out!

These are the prototypes. Raw Stainless Steel. The productions units will come polished. There is a coating option available at a cost to cut down on heat. Install and dyno set for Memorial Day weekend.

The only thing I worry about is the flanges are not connected like MBH or the Evosport headers (See below). But if the fabricator is already took this to account, it shouldn't be a problem.
If the Flanges are not perfectly aligned, they would be difficult to install due to having to physically align Stainless Steel and the added stress of the alignment on the headers add the risk of cracking. I should know, I bought headers with a similar style flange setup and it was a no go (See Below).
