Smile 1/4 mile time of my car.

It's not the official 1/4 mile. My friend (CF777) and me use g-tech to test out the 0-60mph and 1/4 mile of my C32. It's 2 people on the car the whole way. (+350lbs)

First run: 0-60mph in 5.33s and 1/4 mile in 13.88@108.1mph
Second run: 0-60mph in 5.37s and 1/4 mile in 13.84@107.9mph

So far it's my first 2 runs in my C32 with 3400kms in it and i hope i will get better time when i learn how to launch the car properly.
My ESP is on and i didn't power-brake the car.

What do you guys think?

What roll-out distances are you all using with your gtech pro? I think the default 12-inches can greatly exaggerate performance. When I first got my gtech pro I tried doing a few runs on public roads before I realized that was NOT a good thing to do (just too much traffic and ticket potential, even in the early morning hours).

Anywhere, here are 2 of my gtech pro runs, one just 0-60 and another 0-1/4mi, both done at below freezing temperatures. I doubt the car is as fast as indicated -- I think its all due to the 12-inch default roll-out. Adding back the ~0.5 sec time corresponding to the roll-out seems to make the times more realistic, given both of these launches we actually pretty poor.

When the drag strip opens I'll try to get some actual time slips with the gtech running and try to correlate.

Good results

GTech uses instantantaneous velocity at the end of the quarter, whereas real tracks average over the last 60 feet or so.

This makes the GTech always optimistic, your trap speeds are not "real" compared to time slips. So expect the speed to read high.

I think you are on the right path, I would try to adjust rollout to get about a 2.00 sec @ 60foot. 2 sec at 60ft is what the better C32 drivers actually get.

If you reached 107mph on a real track you would be happy.
I think a 13.4 would be typical for a stock car, with an OK driver in OK conditions. Look at the stock slips, speeds are always about 107.

A Gtech would say this was 13.4 and 111mph? I suppose.

Be sure your run is level or results will be skewed.
I also think your "test weight" is low, and thus your HP is low too.

The GTech looks very repeatable, and that is impressive. Just try to fine tune it.
