got a flat

Folks,

I just got a flat today and I am now running on the supplied donut (04 model). The culprit is a nail, which can be easily fixed, but I don't want to take it to some hack shop who will scratch rims fixing the wheel. Any suggestions? I will rather have them patch the hole from the interior of the wheel even though it costs more because it's a lot more effective...

You want them to "patch the hole from the interior of the wheel?" What do you mean by this? I assume that you do not want them to drill through metal?

big o tires isn't too bad...i don't think they've scratched my rim yet...and they balance pretty well....

i'm sure someone knows a bay area tire place that specifically deals with low profile tires and expensive rims tho....

I think I will give Big O a shot - as long as they repair the flat with a patch rather then shoving a metal thread through the hole with out scratching the rim it will be good enough for me.
