Any steering wheel upgrades for our cars?
 

Can you use a steering wheel off a newer AMG on a c55 and make it fully functional?

Im assuming a clk63 wheel would work??

I saw what was listed as a SL65 wheel on a C55, but it looked pretty close to a CLK63 steering wheel.

So, for sure other Mercedes wheels will work.

But so far i actually like the factory steering wheel on this car.

You can swap in the 3 spoke steering wheel from another W203 C class or the W209 CLK wheel. Anything else will get much more complicated.

I had the SLK55 P030 Carbon Wheel in my C55, also retro fitted upright shifters.

Any pics of this wheel?

Almost started a new thread then I realised I already had this one going....

I have come to realize that I absolutely hate the stock three star c55 wheel with the bulky airbag. Will a stock w209 clk55 amg wheel work and is it plug and play?
