Oil change with a master MB tech
Here at the Mercedes dealership where I work, we have Klink. He is somewhere just on the other side of insanely talented. I was invited to bring my car back into shop after we closed and he would "show me a few things" while we changed the oil. We used the pneumatic oil extractor machine and pulled out a little over 7.5 quarts. He hooked the diagnostic computer to my OBDII port and we watched the oil level rise on the screen as he poured in fresh Mobil 1. We looked at all the past CELs and I got a better picture of the history of the service and repairs done on the car. He went over all the plastic pieces under the hood and showed me what to replace and what looked like it had more life. All the while he was regaling me with racing stories and maintenance tricks. How fortunate could I be? I have a cool car and a German guardian angel.
