What LSD is a bolt in?
I have bin reading online that the c55 requires you to modify the differential housing to put a LSD in but I remember reading I long time ago there are some that are just bolt in no mods needed but I cant find the thread I don't want to spend a lot of money on the LSD then more on the install when I could just get a bolt in one and install it myself so if anyone could tell me anything about that it would be helpful

Yes I know about qualife I was wondering what is the right one that bolts in and were can I buy one I hear they make 2 lsd's one need the diff housing to be modded and one is just a bolt in no modding needed.

You would think a car, an actual AMG like the C55 would have had a LSD as an option at least?!
Just because it has an auto trans doesn't mean we might not want some serious performance options does it?
Yeah, the Quaife sounds like a solid option for a LSD for the C55.

The Wavetrac is made in the US, guaranteed forever, and costs much less ($1000) this has been discussed many times previous. Also: No AMG car comes standard with LSD and its not even an option on MOST any AMG! It's a 5k option on track package cars like p31's which i have NEVER seen one installed from the factory. The black series are the only ones that have them standard, and MB has only sold a few hundred of all of those, ever! Its crazy that you cant even get them on the majority of these cars that have over 500hp nowadays(BUT MB has gone to AWD on most the crazy ones now) "s"amg;s
