C55 Wheels Source
I've been a lurker on this forum for a long time. Thank you all for creating this wealth of information. I've learned a lot over the years by reading this forum and owning my C55.
I've owned the car for about 7 years and have repaired cracked rims at least 4 times. I've done one rim twice and it's now slowly leaking air again in a new crack. At this point I think the rim is compromised and I'd like to get a new (or new at least new to me) rear rim. With the car being ~15 years old the wheels are hard to come buy.
Does anyone know where I can reliably source a rear wheel? I see a few distributors online but they appear to be out of stock. If anyone has a lead on one I'd owe you a beer... or at least an uber eats delivery lol.

LA Wheel & Tire sells sets (chrome 4-spoke) for $3,500+/- tax and shipping. They also have a trade-in program but your wheels must be standard finish NOT CHROME!
Good luck......

I don't know how much you plan to spend but, I broke a lot of factory wheels on these terrible roads. I went over to a set of rotary forged mandrus wheels and never looked back. Much stronger/lighter than factor and were only about 1200 bucks.

I ended getting a refurbished one for 280 on eBay which seemed fair. This is the last time I fix a wheel on this car. It’s frankly embarrassing having to go into the shop twice a year for the same thing. I can’t justify spending 1k + given the current value being ~5-7k . I’d rather put that towards a c 63!
