engine noise c32 amg

Hi guys,

I recently purchased a c32 amg , year 2001. 90.000 miles (146.000 km).
I am now getting it back to the best state possible.

Last week i changed the serpentine belt, idler pulley, tensioner pulley(including tensioner) and alternator.
But you can still hear a strange noise when the engine is working. I made a video right after changing all the parts.

When I came home after driving it 20 minutes it sounded a lot better.

The former owner did replace the supercharger bearing.

I was thinking about the power steering pump? or could it just be the fluids?
Can you guys give me a direction to look for the problem? Because i don't think it should sound like this..

Cheers!

Did you end up finding out what the sound was? I would take insame1’s advice to remove the belt and spin the pulleys individually. It’s very easy to remove the belt on the 32.

Today i bought new power steering fluid at the dealer. After flushing and refilling the reservoir it started to sound a lot better.
so for now i think that is the solution.

Yeah sounds like it fixed it for now. The audio is a bit confusing because it sounds like there are more sounds coming from the area. Can you confirm that it sounds quiet? Maybe the harmonic balancer is..out of balance? How’s your idler pulley?

yeah im not that happy yet, it sounds like a sort of wobble.
i already renewed the idler and tensioner pulleys, might check them again for wobbling.

any other suggestions?
