Renntech Springs

I am looking to purchase a set of Renntech Springs for a 2003 SLK32. Who has the best prices/who will give me a discount?

I refuse to pay retail for anything. I will find a hook up or move on to another brand.

Don't be penny wise and spring foolish when it comes to the best spring set up for a C32.

I agree with you on don't be a "cheap *******".

I dropped Harris a line. Hopefully I will get a fast response. I would like to have the springs installed before the AMG photo shoot in Atlanta.

I drove the RENNtech SLK32 about a year and a half and it was far more planted than the stock car. The stock SLK32 was bouncy and the short wheelbase made the car very skittish at the limit. The RENNtech car was not nearly as nervous at the limit. I had time to take it for a 50 minute drive though my favorite canyon route and I can honestly say it is the best spring for that car. I ran with a stock SLK32 in my C32 when it was stock and the SLK32 was very prone to roll while the C32 was a great deal more flat. I would go for the RENNtech springs and just consider the slightly higher price part of the improved performance. The car will still ride very well so dont sweat that.

SMGC32 and I have spent a great deal of time with a C32 that had RENNtech springs, shocks and camber bushings and RENNtech makes great quality parts. Good luck.

Harris might get you a small discount bout dont expect anything crazy.

Thanks for relating your experience with the Renntech springs. I think Harris has twisted my arm and you guys have convinced me to place an order tomorrow. Any comments on the PSS-9's or Carlsson equivilants? I am not sure they make them for the SLK32 but figured I would check the price before ordering the RENNtech springs.

If you drive hard and are willing to pay for pss-9's I would get them in a heart beat. Look at some threads for SMGC32's (well he and my self) track day discussions. The Carlsson kit transforms the car (PSS-9 and Carlsson kits are ths same system we think...).

But I have never looked into an SLK so I have no idea about that application. I doubt it works because it is a double wishbone front suspension while the W203 uses a McPherson Strut set-up.

RENNtech is great. You cant go wrong. It might be to soft for track use that that is about it.

Good luck!
